My list below, Jeff Korbelik’s – which is very similar to mine – here.
Yia yia’s – This place will be on my list of best restaurants in Lincoln. An amazing beer selection – and all the employees know their beer – along with excellent pizza. It’s all thincrust and is served with a piece of bread. You can also get baked potatoes and some excellent garlic bread to go with your pizza. (Or, for the gluten or dairy free, the baked potatoes are a great substitute for the pizza.) My go to meal at Yia yia’s is a slice of the Northern – a three cheese pizza with white sauce – and a wheat beer or an ESB. During the winter, I’ll get a slice of the Local – bacon, hamburger, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, black olives and mozzarella on marinara sauce. Pair that with a Guinness and you’ve got the perfect hearty winter meal. You can find them on the south side of O Street between 14th and Centennial Mall.
Piezano’s – A neighborhood place on the corner of 27th and South that has a pepperoni cream cheese pizza, a potato pizza and a chicken tuscany. They also do all the classic pizza staples and they have thin, medium or deep dish crust. I don’t make it over there as often as I’d like, but every trip is enjoyable.
The Isles Pub – I grew up blocks away from this Havelock staple. The Leaning Tower of Pizza is a must-try.
Big Sal’s – Located on the corner of 27th and Vine, this is another Lincoln classic. The Big Sal is especially good.
(A map is included below that shows all four places.)

Thank you for not mentioning Valentino’s.
The Atlantic is my Yia Yia’s go-to slice. Mmm. Sounds amazing right now.
Good list. I concur.
